Why do you want to join us: I’m looking for a focused and mature guild that wants to progress in end game content. A good atmosphere and courteous people. Also you’re seeking a pally tank.
What do you expect from us: Pretty much the above.
What were your previous guilds and state the reason for leaving. The latter also applies if you are still in a guild: I migrated to this realm in June of ’09 from the Sha’tar Realm I was there since May of 07. The realm had a low population and slow progress with few raiding guilds of repute.
Since then I was in Zero Tolerance. I left a couple of weeks ago on my own accord. My reasons for leaving were that I wasn’t happy there and mostly stayed for a few peeps I liked. I don’t want to go into other details atm.
Being anxious to raid again after a few weeks of being out of the loop I joined Deus ex Machina, though I know now that It was a hasty move and I didn’t think it through as I should have. I shall be leaving since from what I've seen the guild is focused mostly on 10man normal content and not that much on hardmodes or 25man content, though they seem like really nice people.
Our raid starts at 21.30 server time and ends about 00.00/30. Is that a suitable time for you?: The raid start time suits me greatly, since I’m married and have kids that require my time earlier.
Ancient Legacy is using TeamSpeak so having it installed is required for raids, do you have it?: Yes
Deadly Boss Mods, Omen, and other addons that provide good assistance for your class in the raids, are required if u want participate in guild raids, do you have these?: Yes I do.
Good knowledge and skill concerning your own class and how it works in different specs and bossfights is a must for raiding, do you feel you can maximise your chars abilities in any raid situation?: Yes
Feel free to add additional information about yourself: I’ve been playing WoW almost since release. I started on Defias Brotherhood playing a resto druid (horde) as my main and did some of the earlier raid content (up to a few bosses in AQ40). Real life and work commitments required me to stop playing almost a year. I returned to the game a couple of months after TBC release and have been playing without any lapses.
In TBC I tanked all the way through the expansion on my feral druid (KZ right thru to Illidan). We hit the first couple of bosses of SWP after patch 3.0 so I really don’t consider that any sort of achievement.
In wotlk I took up my abandoned paladin tank that I just had for instancing in TBC as my main and have tanked all (or almost all) content up to and including the first 4 bosses of ICC.
My general experience in the game (not including my vanilla time served as it means little today) are aside my pally (prot/ret) are: My feral (tank/dps) druid lvl80, my survival hunter lvl80, my warrior (prot/fury) currently mid 70s, plus several mid level chars of all classes that I play when I feel in need of a change.
Raid progress on my paladin in wotlk: Naxx10/25 – cleared, OS 10/25 – both cleared with +3d, EoE 10/25 – Cleared, Uld10 – 14/14 (all hm), Uld25 – 13/14 (a couple of hm), ToC10/25 – 5/5, ToGC10 – 5/5, ToGC25 – 3/5, ICC10/25 – 4/7.
On a personal note I'm an avid player of RPGs (computer and PnP). I enjoy Sci-Fi and Fantasy literature and media (movies, series etc), I'm married and have kids and I'm currently working from home so I can be online during the day at times.
